We currently have an opening for a Project Coordinator.

Our company is a modern and efficient SPF dimension Sawmill & Planermill facility at Strathnaver, 75 km south of Prince George, BC. Our quality lumber products are sold across North America and in overseas markets. 

Role & Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities include planning and execution of capital projects, from conceptual design and feasibility study to final implementation and project sign-off. The successful candidate will be expected to manage timelines, budgets and report progress at regular intervals while maintaining a high-quality standard. Regular interaction and communication between mill personnel, equipment providers and vendors is also expected.

Qualifications:

Ideally, the successful candidate for this position will have experience with manufacturing in an engineering and/or project management roll, advanced written and verbal communication skills, strong problem-solving skills, excellent time management and experience in the following:

• AutoCAD
• Microsoft Project
• Enterprise Asset Management Software
• Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio & Power Point
• A Degree in Electrical Engineering is considered a strong asset.
