The SZC Project is a ~£20bn nuclear new build project in Suffolk which is currently seeking planning approval and financing from HMG and investors, with a view to start construction in 2023. When completed, it will provide dependable electricity to 6 million homes for 60 years, which along with renewables, will support Britain to achieve Net Zero by 2050.
We now have a fantastic opportunity for several Programme Managers to ensure the end to end delivery of a large scope of systems, structures and components for the SZC Nuclear Island.Â
Our teams are set up to work flexibly. If you’re able to travel to the office to collaborate with your team and stakeholders when required, you can be based anywhere in the UK. We provide a full suite of IT equipment to ensure that our employees can work from home comfortably and effectively.Â

You’ll lead a group of Senior Project Managers and Project Managers, ensuring that project deliverables are completed to time, cost and quality standards.Â
This’ll be achieved by putting in place the organisation, processes and measures to monitor performance, and effectively manage the scope of work covered by the Nuclear Island Programme.Â
Depending on your scope, you’ll be accountable for delivering a portfolio of about 30 systems for the plant, with a value ranging from £1bn- £3bn.Â

You’ll be a hands- on leader with proven experience in strategic management at a senior level. Your technical expertise will allow you to understand and communicate complex technical ideas to a range of audiences.Â
