What you'll do

As a Programme Manager, you’ll define the programme in partnership with stakeholders, defining appropriate objectives, structure and scope, and leading the articulation of the financial business case for the programme. You’ll identify and manage the governance and controls appropriate to the complexities of the programme and ensure that all the programme deliverables adhere to the agreed governance and risk frameworks.

You’ll also:

  • Make sure that the delivery of the project outcomes and services from the projects meet programme strategic objectives
  • Own, define and manage programme plans, controls and resource plans and status or progress reporting on plans and controls
  • Work with the delivery teams to make sure appropriate resources are assigned to deliver the programme
  • Build, manage and maintain a positive working relationship with senior stakeholders across multiple franchises and functions, influencing decision making in line with business objectives
  • Be accountable for programme level risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies

The skills you'll need

You’ll need an appropriate programme management qualification, with a background leading pan-Bank and Financial Services Industry transformation projects and or programmes. Even better if you have experience working with Regulators & Industry bodies, or if you have previously worked for a Big 5 management consultancy firm

You’ll also need:

  • Experience and understanding of the Cash & ATM Industry, Cash Operations & Branch Strategy, Branch Network Design would be essential
  • Strategy, Solution Design and Customer Journey definition & delivery experience
  • Strong Stakeholder management & business consultancy skills being able to manage multiple, sometimes conflicting priorities to jointly agree the best solutions to meet customer needs
  • A strong Agile leadership background
