The opportunity | Te Whiwhinga mahi

The faculty of Creative Arts & Industries is currently seeking a Programme Coordinator to join their team. This is a full-time, 1 year fixed-term position with the main purpose of providing administrative support for student and academic related administrative processes.

Some key responsibilities include:

  • Provide assistance and advise at key recruitment and student-facing University events
  • Support the administration of faculty-based scholarships and prizes
  • Build collaborative relationships with key academic leaders and professional staff across the faculty, Student Academic Services, and the Student Hub

The Faculty of Creative Arts and Industries

We are looking for a detail-oriented person with excellent stakeholder engagement skills. The person should thrive in a fast-paced environment and be passionate about the education sector. If you are a highly organised and adaptable person with proven administrative and logistical experience in a customer facing role, we would like to hear from you. 

Our ideal candidate will have the following experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent gained through relevant experience
  • 2 to 3 years' experience delivering high quality administrative support
  • Experience of working with and understanding the needs of a diverse range of clients
  • Experience of working effectively in a team setting AND working independently with sole responsibility for coordinating an end-to-end process/activity
