The Cloud + AI, Commerce and Ecosystems (C+E) team enables one of Microsoft’s most business-critical needs: digital monetization of products and services. C+E is developing some of Microsoft’s largest scale, most business-critical cloud services. These services have a huge global footprint of over 240 markets and processes millions of transactions daily, with volumes growing rapidly as Microsoft transitions to a fully cloud-powered services and devices company.

 

The Enterprise Commerce team (EC), within C+E, powers all of Microsoft’s key businesses – including Azure, Microsoft 365, and the Windows Store. The platform powers the licensing business for millions of customers, enabling them to use Microsoft software and services across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid scenarios. The team is responsible for building and shipping critical services and experiences to modernize the licensing commerce platform at Microsoft and accelerate the convergence into a modern architecture that is customer centric, compliant, secure, scalable, and cost-effective way.

 

As part of the EC, Azure Enterprise Experiences Team helps customers and partners understand their Azure invoice (bill), manage billing account and subscriptions, monitor, and control Azure spending and optimize resource use. We are looking for an experienced Product Manager who has proven success in building intuitive end-to-end customer experiences as we embark on the journey to redefine and innovate Azure Portal for enterprise users. 

 

In this role, you will:

  • Define end-to-end customer experiences to design durable platforms with the agility to work on a broad range of features traversing from strategy to details.
  • Drive successful collaboration across various groups while maintaining a focus on partner and customer requirements and the mutual strategic direction
  • Own and drive key KPIs and OKRs that has senior leadership level visibility
  • Contribute to developing machine learning (ML) capabilities to deliver intelligent insights and analytics to customers and partners

We’re looking for a great Product Manager who is excited about an opportunity to make a significant impact on how we enable consumption of Microsoft's products empowering our commercial customers and partner ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Passionately represents customers, their scenarios, and priorities.
  • Lead customer discussions and transform customer insights into new features that empower customers to do more, enhance usability and drives customer delight.
  • Define and own the roadmap, priority, and execution of Commerce Licensing capabilities.
  • Proven ability to lead through ambiguity while partnering across organizations.
  • Proven sense of high accountability and self-drive to take on and see-through big challenges.
  • Drives engineering agility by enabling engineers to release and measure their changes rapidly with high quality.

Qualifications

  • Deep customer & user empathy, and ability to identify customer needs.
  • 5+ years of software product management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience and MBA from premium institute is preferred.
  • Strong interest in customer-facing products with experience in delivering user experience transformation.
  • Strong collaboration skills to impact/influence engineering and partner teams.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with leadership teams on product vision.
  • Keen sense of ownership, drive, and entrepreneurial mindset to build trust with internal and externals stakeholders.  
  • Exceptional problem solving, strategic thinking and technical acumen.
