Job Description

Located in Montreal West Island, in Pointe-Claire, our factory is looking for Production Line Operator to join our amazing team. Relevant experience in a manufacturing / industrial environment and in standard forklift driving is an asset Permanent full-time position, unionized. Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

• Operate the production machinery;
• Set-up the machinery;
• Pack the final products;
• Load and unload the merchandise while respecting the procedures established by Gentek;
• Ensure the production line doesn’t miss supplies;
• Be sure to strictly follow health and safety rules;
• Perform various production-related tasks as required.

Qualifications

• Master French. English is an asset
• A valid forklift license is an asset;
• Experience in driving a standard sit-down forklift is an asset;
• Be able to work in rotation on shifts: day and evening;
• Punctual, reliable and professional;
• Work experience in a manufacturing environment;
• Be aware of the importance of following the Health and Safety rules;
• Have a positive and determined attitude.

• Evening premium: $ 0.85 / hour;

• Schedule: Posted on Thursdays for the next week. Monday to Friday. Variable Rotation mandatory: day, evening, night. The same shift is scheduled for the entire week.
