Ok, so not really, but in the world of Children’s Presentation we are starting to think about it and we are looking for a perfectly organised and experienced Production Co-ordinator to help us out in the run up to our festive time.
The BBC is the leading Children's broadcaster in the UK. Our content seeks to entertain, inform and empower children, adding real value to their lives. Presentation provides hosted links for the CBeebies and CBBC Channel using a mix of presenters to bring our output to life for children up to the age of twelve. The content is made in studio with a variety of presenters.

Duties include helping set up and organise our Christmassy content across both CBBC and CBeebies.
Assisting the Production Manager with the creation of schedules and post-production paperwork
Booking travel and equipment
Logging costs
We will need someone to book crews, help organise the set “get inâ€, booking Talent and contributors.
Help with Design team bookings
Use systems such as Buy, Book, Order to raise Purchase Orders.
The successful candidate must use time and resources efficiently in order to achieve maximum productivity within deadlines and budgets, take a thorough and methodical approach to work, whilst being able to respond flexibly to changes.
The ideal candidate will have Studio experience, preferably “live†knowledge and you will be an experienced PC.
You will have experience working in a big team in an ongoing area, or can show how they could adapt previous experience to it.
They’ll be a self-starter, hardworking and resilient to the pressures of a busy production team.
They will also be great at prioritising, excellent at managing time and expectations,
Possess exceptional communication skills and have a positive and proactive attitude to work.
You will have experience of working within a busy and fast-paced team and have a strong positive can-do attitude.
The will have knowledge of BBC systems or be familiar with learning production systems quickly. Able to use systems and adopt new technologies..
Demonstrates strong organisational and planning skills and manages conflicting demands to meet content deadlines.
