About the Maritime Division

 

As part of Transport for NSW, our Maritime team is responsible for managing over 2,137km of coastline and 32,242km2 of navigable waterways, educating recreational and commercial customers on responsible waterways usage. We look after aquatic licencing, vessel registration, moorings management, safety compliance and special events on the water, just to name a few. We’re passionate about working with the community to make sure that our waterways are safe, accessible and sustainable for generations to come.

 

The opportunity

 

Right now, we have an exciting opportunity for a Product Service Officer to join us providing high quality customer service in the delivery of maritime related products and services. including applications for and management of moorings, processing applications and issue of aquatic licences, boat-code management, processing of penalty notices and formal warnings, and on-going support to outsourced transactions for boat driver licences and vessel registrations and other activities as required. Some key accountabilities will be but are not limited to:

 

Providing high quality customer service to internal and external customers (including Service NSW) ensuring best practice in customer service and consistent product support.

Supporting state-wide operational staff in the administration of mooring licences and aquatic events.

Process payments and banking accurately and efficiently in line with the RMS Office Cash Procedures

Maintain a current working knowledge of specialised Maritime Division products and services and provide mentoring and training support to team members

Salary and Benefits 

 

The base salary for this position commences at MA3 ($67,961) with structured salary increases in line with training plan
