Job title: Product/Project Development Manager

Location: Germany, UK, Spain, Portugal

Our Home Devices team leads the delivery of a portfolio of home devices (Cable, Fibre, DSL, 5G, WiFi) to support the Vodafone markets with their fixed line offerings. However, it is becoming more and more difficult to differentiate to competition on hardware only, so Vodafone is planning to deliver new products and services.

You will lead the definition and delivery of customized Vodafone branded home devices (Gateways, WiFi products) across Vodafone markets. This covers all project phases including concept development, RFQ, product development, launch and life cycle management.

With us you will:

Project manage the delivery of Vodafone branded gateways, on time, quality and cost.
Manage risks and resolve issues to ensure programmes are delivered on time and to budget.
Identify and engage potential device vendors. Drive the vendor selection process in conjunction with Vodafone Procurement Company (RFI, RFP, vendor meetings)
Drive the detailed technical device specification of gateway products with the key objective to define unified products which will be launched across multiple markets.
Drive alignment with markets and keep track of upcoming core technologies in the area of WAN (DOCSIS, GPON, DSL, 4G, 5G) / LAN / WiFi
A portfolio of unified Vodafone Gateways and WiFi products globally launched on time, on quality, on cost.

Apply if you have:

University degree (BA/MSC) or equivalent professional experience, in engineering.
Excellent knowledge in product management methodologies and processes, progress reporting, risk management, project management tools, project planning and control techniques.
Excellent knowledge of gateway and WiFi related technologies (hardware and software).
Experience in leading the development of consumer products in a technology environment
