The Division

 

The Customer Strategy and Technology team within Transport leads the development of long-term, multi-modal strategies, plans and policies across NSW. We leverage data and insights, implement new technologies, drive innovation and build partnerships to provide customer-centred solutions.

 

The opportunity

 

We have a Full Time Opportunity (up to June 2024) for a Product Marketing Manager to join the Customer Strategy & Technology division in the Sydney Coordinated Adaptive Traffic System (SCATS) branch in Strawberry Hills office. (Flexible work options)

SCATS enables cities around the world include Sydney optimise their transport networks in real-time, managing congesting and keeping over 1 billion people safe every day worldwide.

 

We are looking for an experienced product marketer who will be who will be responsible for shaping and communicating the value of the SCATS product suite, and what sets a part as the world leader in intelligent mobility solutions.

 

What you will be involved in,

 

  • Develop user and buyer personas and product positioning and messaging to communicate the value of SCATS to target customers and to maximise SCATS’ suite of products position in the market.
  • Undertake market research to inform both identification of target customers and to develop strategies to support competitive differentiation
  • Develop GTM strategies and plans and prepare for and deliver product launches to promote SCATS products in domestic and global markets and to support revenue growth
  • Manage and coordinate the design, production and delivery of marketing, sales and communication collateral reflecting SCATS brand and tone to communicate product features, benefits and value.
  • Collaborate with the commercial team providing training as required to understand and communicate product value and features to drive product demand, usage and sales.

 

About you

 

  • You hold a Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ experience in areas such as in marketing, brand, pre-sales, training, or product marketing
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, with a demonstrated ability to build professional cross functional relationships
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, storytelling, analysis and problem solving skills
  • Interest in technology, creativity, and leadership skills to execute effectively
  • Knowledge of smart mobility or intelligent transport systems would be viewed favourably but is not essential.

Salary and Benefits 

 

The salary for this position is TfNSW Grade 9 ($138,670- $155,309) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
