We’re also responsible for all of YouTube’s marketing activities to consumers, creators, and key opinion influencers.

In this role, you will bring high-level customer behavior, creative and strategic acumen, and operational rigour. You will work with a cross-functional team to develop and execute programs that deliver exceptional results at every step of the customer journey, including increasing consideration, driving user activation and engagement and winning back lost or non-activate YouTube Shorts users across 50+ EMEA countries.

You’ll be the primary EMEA owner of YouTube Shorts Product Growth marketing, launching, maintaining, and optimizing the growth flywheel aiming to driving consideration, viewership, creation, and engagement of YouTube Shorts via on-platform channels including direct and remnant media, in-app placements, notifications and email. You will co-own the EMEA quarterly, yearly viewer, and create growth goals and associated key performance funnel indicators. You will take a lead as YouTube Shorts evolves on what resources, capabilities, and processes we need to make this a success.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the EMEA full funnel for YouTube Shorts across consideration, activation, engagement and win-back stages. You are tasked with scaling the global evergreen programs and best practices while developing regional and local campaigns.
  • Define and own the yearly and quarterly strategic plan definition and execution for EMEA YouTube Shorts Product Growth making recommendations on direction, highlighting and overcoming challenges, and ensuring it’s complementary to the overall Marketing strategy.
  • Collaborate with Global/Regional Platforms and Media Marketing and Global Shorts Product Growth to define and execute the vendor model supporting Media Activation.
  • Develop, build, and implement data-driven testing and optimization agenda. Co-define Global and Regional quarterly priorities in collaboration with the Global Shorts Product Growth, Global Platforms and Media, Global Shorts Product, and Engineering teams with inputs from the Local Product Marking Managers (PMMs).
