The opportunity

The Product Development Manager is responsible for supporting the development process for station products and information at Sydney Trains to enhance the customer experience on stations. Support the product review process including delivering analysis and recommendations to the Manager, Station Product Development, and identifying opportunities for improvement on stations to ensure safety, quality, and maintainability of assets.

The main responsibilities for this role are, but not limited to:

• Support the product review process including delivering analysis and recommendations and identifying opportunities for improvement on stations to ensure safety, quality, maintainability of assets and to enhance the customer experience on stations.
• Manage stakeholder engagement including conducting workshops to gather product requirements and interviewing of key stakeholders to ensure stakeholders are identified and adequately consulted on the product development process.

About you

You will have experience in a similar role, where you’ve been involved the product lifecycle from development to maturity phase. You will have a strong understanding of finances to recognise products at end of life cycle, and the application of financial modelling. 

Essential:

• Tertiary qualifications in business, engineering or equivalent demonstrated relevant experience in product development.

Salary and benefits

The salary for this position is RC6 ($127,559-$141,442) plus superannuation and leave loading.
