Who we are 

GEEIQ [Pronounced GEEK] began its journey back in 2018 when our three co-founders Charles, James & Andrew got together to create something special. Fast forward 3 years, and what once was three members is now a team of over 25, and that team is growing.

We help companies of every shape and size to effectively navigate the metaverse through our enterprise platform, which leverages data to identify and optimize metaverse strategies. Our platform has empowered brands across the world to enrich the experience of untapped virtual communities, grow addressable audiences, and to create sustainable revenue streams in a new marketing vertical.

About the role…
GEEIQ seeks an experienced, SaaS product-savvy Product Designer to join our team. We seek a strong cross-functional candidate with ideas and strategic vision to help shape the functionality, workflows, and user experiences of our products. This person will be an advocate for usability and interface design and will be responsible for the delivery and output of quality and timely design deliverables - including wireframes, prototypes, presentations research, and other UX-centric work. 

What you’ll be responsible for

• Conduct user researcher to understand our users and their needs - alongside product management team
• Set design requirements based on data from the Product team
• Help evolve a cohesive user experience for new workflows
• Create design concepts and flow diagrams
• Build, iterate and evolve the design system
• Present product ideas to relevant team members for brainstorming
• Employ design concepts into wireframes and prototypes
• Perform research on product technologies to implement into design concepts
• Modify and revise existing designs to meet user expectations

What we are looking for…

• Experience in a Product Design or UX/UI design role, preferably on a product team working on complex, technical SaaS products with a B2B focus
• A product thinker - you care about why you’re designing something and what impact it will have for the user
• Experience in developing UI guidelines and/or design systems that enable others to build on your work effectively.
• Considerable knowledge and expertise of various design and collaboration tools, including Figma, Invision, Sketch, Jira, and others.
• You have worked with engineers and product managers, ensuring they are brought into the design thinking process and not just expected to ship designs
• You can work with and extend our existing brand guidelines and design systems
• You enjoy sketching, wire-framing and creating interactive prototypes to test your ideas
