An excellent opportunity as arisen for an experienced Procurement Specialist to join this large and very busy organisation located in Penrose.  Establishing and maintaining supply contracts with a large number of suppliers you will get to fully utilise your negotiating and relationship building skills. 

Starting asap this role will keep you busy till the end of June and possibly longer.

Duties include:

• Undertake Needs Analysis for procurement initiatives
• Manage internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes
• Negotiate and finalise documentation
• Prepare and present recommendations
• Manage transition and implementation of incoming/outgoing suppliers
• Ensure sound financial analysis
• Ensure savings opportunities for the organisation
• Manage contract performance and compliance
• Managing Tender process
• Other adhoc duties

To be considered you will ideally have:

• A qualification in Business, supply chain or procurement
• 5 + years experience with IT, Procurement (Exposure to health sector would be an advantage)
• 5 + years proven negotiation and contract management experience
• Proven experience running a tender process
• Analytical skills
• Advanced MS Word (contract drafting, tables, formatting)
• Advanced MS Excel (Vlookups, Sumif formulas, Pivot tables)
• Excellent communication and commercial relationship building experience
• Strong written and presentation skills
• A proven legal experience with Contracts Management
• Deadline driven and a good attention to detail
