About the team
The Procurement Services team sits within the Commercial, Performance and Strategy Branch of Infrastructure and Place Division. This team is responsible for the end-to-end procurement of Professional Services Contracts and Minor Works Contracts within each project. In the TfNSW Matrix Model, the team partners with the project teams to help deliver the program within the required milestone.
The opportunity
Right now, we have an exciting opportunity for a number of permanent and fixed term (until 2025) Procurement Manager to provide management and join us in the Commercial, Performance and Strategy Branch of Infrastructure and Place (we will also consider secondments for these opportunities). These roles with focus on the Rail projects within Development and Delivery including: More Trains More Services, Transport Access Program & Parramatta Light Rail. Or they will join the Transport Asset Revitalisation Program (TARP) is evaluating 400+ sites to identify those that are no longer needed and could be repurposed to create value to reinvest in transport infrastructure, support economic recovery, improve customer experience, and boost the NSW Government’s urban renewal pipeline.
The role will include but not limited to:
Plan and Manage end to end procurement process for different branches/programs with input from the procurement cross functional team and in compliance with relevant policies, standards, procedures and frameworks.
Work in collaboration with multiple branches/programs/projects to develop tender evaluation methodology with input from the procurement cross functional team.

About you
The successful candidate will likely hold tertiary qualification in Business, commerce and / or equivalent relevant discipline. This is an opportunity to join a high performing team as a Procurement Manager.
You will have:
Extensive end to end procurement experience in Professional Services Contract and Minor Works Contract.
Experience working with and managing multidisciplinary project teams with good understanding of the processes for procuring services for different project.
Excellent communication skills both in written and verbal forms and can work autonomously or as part of a team.
You will be required to be highly motivated with a strong willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position is Grade 9 ($138,670) – ($155,309) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.For more information on Employee Benefits at TfNSW please click here.
