What you will do

Your will be joining the UK&I Procurement team at an exciting time, in a role responsible for embedding and delivering a transformational strategy. You will oversee a $130m spend portfolio, across Indirect and HVAC categories. Working with the buying team and stakeholders, you will lead a team to assess and develop the supply base and develop category strategies.

How you will do it

• Leading complex supplier negotiations to unlock value
• Leading and developing a small buying team
• Develop & deliver a savings plan with roadmap, as well as additional added-value opportunities
• Collaborating with stakeholders and developing positive relationships internally and externally to understand, align and deliver against priorities
• Driving a high-performance culture through leading outstanding methodology & processes

What we look for

Required: 

• Procurement experience with either Direct or Indirect products and services 
• Consistent track record  delivering transformational results and optimised financial targets
• Experience collaborating with internal stakeholders and external suppliers at a senior level 
• Used to working to very tight deadlines, with a strong delivery focus
• Proactive, adaptable and flexible in your approach 
• Commercially astute with a creative approach to problem solving
• Confident and structured communicator

Preferred:

• Team leadership and people development experience
• Experience working across indirect categories such as IT, Marketing, Professionals Services, Utilities etc. 
• Understanding or experience of the HVAC spend category
• Knowledge of eSourcing processes and software
• Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) qualified
