About the team

 

The Infrastructure and Place division is in the process of delivering an ambitious and once-in-a generation multi-billion program of public infrastructure works which will ease congestion, improve safety, create new places and connect communities for generations to come. The opportunity

 

Right now, we have an opportunity for an experienced Procurement / Contract Manager, to join us in the Commercial Performance and Strategy (CPS) Branch.

 

The primary purpose of this role is to partner with the CPS & Technical Services (TS) stakeholders to plan, develop, source and manage procurement arrangements to effectively meet organisational and business objectives. The role works within cross-functional teams during each stage of a procurement activity to ensure effective administration of all procurement processes and compliance with all procurement policies, processes and procedures and governance frameworks.

 

In addition, the role manages the contract administration support team (5x direct reports or more) within the CPS & TS Procurement Team.

About you

 

You are a seasoned Procurement/Contract Manager looking for an opportunity to manage end-to-end procurement process and leading a contract administration support team.

You have exceptional stakeholder management skills with demonstrated experience in providing procurement advice in a large, complex organisation.

You have extensive experience in the delivery of complex procurement activities including advisory, planning, governance and reporting and an understanding of relevant procurement policies, processes, and systems.

You are an experienced leader with highly developed leadership skills to lead, develop and manage performance of a contract administration support team consist of Project Contact Officers and/or Procurement Contract Officers.

You are someone who works collaboratively with others and builds and maintains strong team relationships. The successful candidate will be committed to managing and prioritising competing demands and responsibilities in a busy and evolving environment.

 

 

Salary and Benefits

 

The salary for this position is Grade 9A ($138,670) – 9E ($155,309) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading. For more information on Employee Benefits at TfNSW please click here.
