About the Role and the Team
Operating within an ANZ structure, you will be joining a small established team in New Zealand with close links to, and regular contact and support from colleagues and stakeholders in Australia. As Category Specialist, your role is to support operations managers in the achievement of their operational goals through the delivery of commercially astute and efficient procurement strategies. This role will support stakeholders across a variety of infrastructure areas including Power, Telecommunications, Transport, Water and Facilities Management.
About You
You will succeed in this role through your results-driven commercial focus. But you will also appreciate the necessity to deliver non cost-related value to your key business stakeholders. You will be a builder of excellent working relationships across a broad and varied group of stakeholders. You may be a someone who is relatively new to category management, or someone who has worked on the sourcing of suppliers and subcontractors as part of a commercial or business development role.
