An opportunity for a Procurement Advisor is now on offer to join the Property and Procurement team within Corporate Services based in our Wellington Customhouse building.
The Property and Procurement team provides property and procurement lifecycle management from inception, planning, project management, delivery and planning and analytics and is responsible for providing advice and support to ensure that Customs can demonstrate compliance with Government procurement and property policies, rules and guidelines.
The Procurement Advisor will be responsible for providing support and guidance to Customs staff in relation to the use of the procurement function within the Finance Management Information System (Ahumoni).
This role will provide input into the development and delivery of Customs procurement by contributing to smaller pieces of work and assisting with larger more complex procurement projects where others have accountability for the delivery of outputs.
