Job Description

Healthcare Australia is seeking a dynamic individual to join our growing procurement team in our Adelaide office.

The role of Procurement Administrative Officer is to seek and engage new services providers, manage contract and mandatory documentation requirements, and provide support to our procurement team.

  

Tasks would include:

Developing key contractual relationships in the healthcare goods and supply industry.

Initiating and managing HCA Home contractual relationships for compliance, value for money and product suitability.

Ensuring compliance to any procurement requirements as determined by existing or new contractual arrangements by either privately funded or Government funded programs.

Ensuring all suppliers of goods (products) meets their obligation with Australian mandatory safety standards. 

Contributing to the ongoing development and implementation of HCA’s home care services including identification of new service goods, services and products offerings.

Maintaining provider data base and documentation.

  

About you

This role requires accurate attention to detail,  strong organisational skills and a desire to provide high quality service. The successful applicant should also possess:

A high level of communication skills, both written and verbal

Ability to learn new data bases quickly

The ability to work autonomously and as a part of a team in a fast paced environment

A professional approach and presentation

Display a strong sense of reliability and commitment to their work

Sound negotiation skills

Demonstrated experience in the following would be highly regarded:

Knowledge of Commonwealth aged care funding and/or State health funded programs. 

Previous role in procurement and contract management

All training will be provided.
