Springbank honey is seeking determined, hard workers to join the shed processing and extraction staff. Springbank Honey is a growing bee keeping practice that processes over 800,000kgs worth of honey each year. Growing to be one of the largest honey produces within the South Island, Springbank honey is constantly expanding within all aspects of production and packing procedures. 

Our shed is divided into three different teams, extraction, processing, and packing. Each team works closely together to help reach targets and deadlines with keeping all work up to a professional standard. Working within our shed is amazing opportunity to learn and expand your skill range in a new practice. Each day you will be available to experience small to big parts of each of the different sections of the shed. Through this experience you will open yourself to the options to learn about all the different types of honey produced in New Zealand, different ways of producing/processing it and each of the compounds within the honey. You will also learn all the different packing techniques and requirements when it comes to honey production. Working within the shed means you will learn how to drive and operate a forklift. Over your time working for Springbank honey, your pay constantly increases as you grow within your role and often bonus pays are added on top for great work. Due to being a growing bee keeping practice we have a tightknit work force that thrives off having a constant great team working environment and a high working ethic, so are looking for more workers who can mirror this

The hours of this job range between 40-50 hours a week with having the potential to reach above this during the peak season. This is a full-time position beginning immediately.
