Our client, in the Not-For-Profit sector seeks a Process Improvement Consultant to assist them with centralizing processes. This project is anticipated to last for approximately 3 months with the possibility of extension.
Reporting directly into the VP Finance, your responsibilities include but not be limited to:
- Workflow change, streamlining, and process redesign starting with AP
- Document invoicing processes
- Vendor analysis
- Purchasing Cards (P-Cards) – process streamlining and documentation
- Set up centralized processes and vendor relationships
- Assist with banking relationships and activities associated with new bank accounts
- Assist with transition for Sage 300 to Sage Intacct
- Best Practices
To be considered for this opportunity, you are an accountant with experience with amalgamation and/or establishing centralized services. You possess superior communication skills and feel comfortable acting as a point of contact for various internal and external stakeholders.
The following skills are also highly desired:
- Ability to support the VP Finance with this project
- Strong understanding of centralized services, process mapping, and streamlining processes.
- Experience with SAGE 300 premium and SAGE Intacct is highly desired
- Proven track record for successfully mapping a centralized process
- Ability to drive cross functional teams towards a common goal
- Ability to stay calm during high pressure situations
