The Role

Exciting opportunities have arisen at Woodland Hospital as we continue to expand with a new Day Case Hospital. We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills to join our Private Patient Services Team (PPS).The successful applicant will be highly motivated with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills and have the ability to lead the team and the service delivery of the department in relation to efficient provision of Private Patient Appointments.

You will need to have the ability to organise and prioritise your workload and the workload of the team whilst working under pressure, be target driven and have a proven track record of achieving results.

The role will report in to the Administration Manager and work with Outpatient and Inpatient Teams, Clinical Teams, Senior Managers, Consultants and Consultant Secretaries

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for handling enquiries, converting and booking outpatient appointments and follow-ups and minor operation procedures for Woodland and Blakelands patients. You will provide high levels of customer service when handling enquiries and information to potential Ramsay patients.

The successful applicant will liaise with self-pay and medically insured patients, local hospital teams, Consultants and Medical Secretaries to grow our growing private patient market. 

The working hours will be between Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Handle all enquiries and book appointments via telephone and email
  • Provide detailed information to patient enquiries whilst delivering excellent customer service
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with internal hospital teams, consultants, medical secretaries and external stakeholders to ensure appointments are converted
  • Maintain contact with potential patients to ensure they are satisfied with the progress of their enquiry
  • Update our CRM system, ENGAGE to ensure we follow the private patient journey from enquiry to admission.
