One of the key components of CRM software, with more than 187 thousand unique users monthly and growing, is Customer Service. We are expanding our team to meet this demand and we are looking for a great software engineers and leaders to help us. In this role you will be able to apply your skills and experience to company-wide efforts, working with engineering teams across the division.   We are looking for a leader who is passionate about solving large enterprise business problems at scale and develop a new class of services. If you are comfortable working in a start-up/v1 environment, enjoy incrementally marching towards a well-defined long-term architecture, and are motivated by solving hard business process problems with technology then this could be the position for you.  We expect an Engineering Lead on the team to:

Responsibilities

• Be a great mentor, and leader of the team and broader organization. You will work with passionate developers that are building the next generation platform and applications
• Be customer obsessed. Understanding and anticipating the needs of our customers who need to reach to changing business and technology landscape is critical
• Have product sense, deep understanding of the broader product vision and ability to plan + design various features in stages to reach the end goal in an evolutionary way is critical
• Be a great engineer. You will be accountable to the design, implementation, schedule, delivery, of your team and services. Doing this in an efficient way is a must
• Earn the technical respect of the people. This is a technical position and the ideal candidate should be capable of working in the code, supporting the service, and understanding at a detailed level how the software works
• Be the software architect. We will look to you to have an informed opinion about what and how the software should evolve and have the ability to land your plan in the division

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of Software Engineering experience with track record of driving multiple products/versions from inception to delivery
• Knowledge of end to end SDLC
• Ability to work in large teams and mentor juniors
• Strong knowledge of computer science, algorithms and design patterns
• A degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent industry experience
