Remuneration:

ASO8, $115,817 to $120,189 p.a. (plus 10% superannuation)

Full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week

Role Purpose/Context:

We are searching for an experienced Principal Project Manager to deliver on state-wide high profile skills projects. If you have exceptional project planning, risk, reporting and facilitation skills, we want to hear from you.

The role works across specialist teams to effectively project manage the design and implementation of complex, state-wide skills and workforce projects and policies and delivers expertise and practical solutions in the areas of project planning, tools and methodologies, scheduling, risk, reporting and the presentation of key information to a range of audiences.

Key Selection Criteria:

• Composing detailed project plans / schedules, risk management frameworks and reporting templates to ensure the timely delivery and monitoring of key milestones and outcomes.
• Managing the strategy, design, implementation and delivery of critical and complex programs and projects to time and cost constraints, whilst ensuring organisation wide strategies and objectives are achieved, through the application of innovative and appropriate project management tools and methodologies.
• Ability to analyse, prepare and present complex data and information, documents, briefings, papers, presentations and reports clearly and accurately.
• Demonstrated high level interpersonal and communication skills that develop successful relationships and networks and achieve shared objectives.

Qualifications:

• Desirable – Tertiary qualifications in commerce, economics, business, project management or similar and/or relevant industry experience.

Special Conditions:

This is a term vacancy up to 30 June 2024. Some out of hours’ business work, intra and Interstate travel may also be required. Engagement in this role may be subject to a satisfactory Department for Human Services background screening check.
