Job Description

Do you have a start-up mentality that is fiercely customer-focused? Do you understand how partners can help us accelerate what we do and have positive impact to our customers? Are you self-motivated yet thrive in a team?

At the core of what we are trying to do is to create data gravity or the relationship between data and applications to make it easier for industry (Auto, Telco, Energy) partners and customers to utilize ALL of the data. The question that will be presented to you is:

How do we effectively create that data gravity where partners want to build upon our data models and our Industry customers can more easily utilized the disparate data systems they already have today? How do we provide meaningful value to both partners and customers?

The Solutions Ecosystem Team is looking for a Senior Program Manager who is curious and wants to solve big challenges by helping drive the data and component strategy for Auto, Telco or Energy.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to create a compelling vision and guide the building of industry solutions leveraging Dataverse, Azure Synapsis, the Power Platform, Azure, Microsft365, and Dynamics 365. Working with industry partners and customers, small and large from around the world, you will help accelerate their digital transformation, understanding what they really need to be most successful and drive transformation in Industry. You will author and prioritize user stories and requirements needed to deliver valuable, usable, and feasible solutions to market.  You will hone your Auto, Telco or Energy market expertise to create and prioritize roadmap, onboard customers, and partners.

Success for this role will include partnering with Industry teams and stakeholders across the company; gathering use cases and feedback from Industry prospects, customers, and strategic partners; leveraging data and telemetry to inform strategic prioritization, employing product discovery and agile development best practices, partnering with design and engineering to a/b test prototypes and iterate daily, and delivering reliable, accessible, and secure solutions into market.

Take your technical and product expertise and combine it with your understanding of our Industry partner and customers' needs to solve their complex challenges.

Identifying and developing a partner network in the Auto, Telco or Energy space. Understanding who the big players area and how we can work with them to drive value to our customers.

Understand and develop a view of Industry capabilities and requirements to visualize what our partners solve for and what we can solve for.

Translate these capabilities and requirements to be solved into solution roadmap priorities to invest in.

Develop relationships with Industry partners, organizations, and industry thought leaders to grow an understanding of unmet, articulated, and unarticulated need in Industry.

Develop opportunity assessments in partnership with Industry business planners to inform target addressable market, return on investment, and revenue projections necessary to understand the impact and return on specific solution investments.

Support daily stand ups and manage team’s execution on solution backlogs, leveraging Azure Dev Ops to ensure we deliver priorities on time and to a high standard of quality, security, and accessibility.

Proactively identify platform enhancements that will enhance the Industry solution work in progress.

Leverage data and insights to inform roadmap priorities and investment themes.

Own deliverables, with clear prioritization and urgency to ship. Translate business requirements, scenarios into products and services, deliver results in an environment of ambiguity. Keep focused release schedules on track and of high quality in partnership with engineering.
