In support of this mission, we are seeking a Principal Program Manager within IC3 (Intelligent Conversation and Communications Cloud) to lead large-scale, cross-functional programs to grow our services. IC3 powers Teams and other communication and collaboration applications by providing rock-solid platforms that deliver core functionality such as messaging and presence. With our rapid growth comes the need to scale our services and build new clouds to support the demand.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering large-scale projects from inception, strategy, execution, and final delivery. You will own the delivery of highly visible and mission-critical infrastructure scaling projects with a focus on continual improvement, cost-reduction, and speed. You will also link IC3 to our partner organizations to ensure project alignment to meet shared outcomes.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: 

• 5-7 years of experience managing large-scale programs with multiple teams across multiple disciplines and in multiple time zones.  

• A track record of defining and implementing new processes or initiatives that result in quantifiable, positive outcomes. 

• Demonstrated ability to think strategically and lead decision making. 

• Strong collaboration and communication skills. 

• Clear, concise, and effective writing skills that are appropriate for all levels within an organization. 

• Experience outlining and delivering presentations to leadership audiences. 

• A high attention to detail and passion for solving complex problems permanently. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• A background in software development or cloud-scale infrastructure.  

• Experience managing the work of software engineers and software teams. 

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings: 

• Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.  
• Citizenship Verification: This position requires verification of US Citizenship to meet federal government security requirements. 
• Fingerprint Background Check: This position will be required to pass a customer required Fingerprint Background Check.
