The M365 Office of the CISO is assembling a “Security + Compliance Engineering Excellence†team to help our customer realize the value of our entire security and compliance suite. You will be part of this special “tiger team†that in M365 engineering lead the engagement with key customers to realize the full potential of our entire security and compliance stack to drive deep usage. You will also act as an GC (General Contractor) and a domain expert with key customers that are managed by the tiger team and will partner with various Field Resources, Account Execs, FastTrack and various CXP organizations across the enterprise engage with these customers unblock deployment challenges.

Architecture & Deployment: Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify customers’ business and technical requirements, architect deployable solutions that meet customer needs, facilitate and guide solution deployment (including Microsoft Defender 365, MDE, MDO, MDI, MCAS, and Compliance solutions such as MIP, DLP, Advanced eDiscovery, Data and Retention, Communications Compliance, Insider Risk Management) and to otherwise act as a strategic technical deployment champion to key customers.
Product & Service Insights: Working with the rest of the M365 Security and Compliance engineering teams, use your knowledge and expertise in enterprise deployments to help create reference architectures, guided deployment guides and set future direction of products and services.
Deliver technical and business insights for industry, government, and regulatory bodies to enable and empower deployment, optimization, and improvements to customer use cases.
Ecosystem Enablement: Use your subject matter expertise in enterprise deployments to train and enable our scalable deployment ecosystem across various internal field and partner teams.
Write and update whitepapers and deployment best practices documentation to help drive usage and adoption of M365 Security and Compliance solution.
Proactively identify customer demand and product opportunities utilizing research and data-based techniques to drive innovation prior to product commitment.
Actively seek solutions to customer needs, communicate trends and insights on M365 security and compliance solutions to leadership, and suggest innovative solutions.
Proactively align market signals to changes in the customer voice, industry, and government to inform product and delivery decisions, playbooks, and documentation.
Qualifications
Technical Solution Leader with in-depth architect-level knowledge of M365 security offerings.
Expertise and ability to integrate complex elements and customer requirements into innovative technical architectures and position them within the context of M365 E5.
Enterprise customer level technical experience with design, configuration, and implementation of Microsoft 365 E5 security offerings (including Microsoft Defender 365, MDE, MDO, MDI, MCAS, and Compliance solutions such as MIP, DLP, Advanced eDiscovery, Data and Retention, Communications Compliance, Insider Risk Management).
Customer focused with 15 years of experience working with global enterprises with the ability to create, enable, and empower diverse teams across the portfolio of products, solutions, and services.
Executive presence and candor commiserate with C-Level relationships.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
Track record of leveraging existing infrastructure, intellectual property, or relationships to drive impact across portfolios, technologies, and domains.
Strategic acumen – Ability to synthesize and advise customers and deployment teams on strategies for deploying M365 E5 Security and Compliance solutions in the enterprise.
Large scale deployment experience – leading and / or active role in large enterprise deployments (e.g., M365, Windows 10, and M365 S+C, etc.).
Leader – ability to lead, inspire and mentor members of Microsoft sales organizations.
Strong leadership to influence key technical decision makers, influencers, industry decision makers and boards required.
Learn it all mindset. Able to expand reach, impact, and customer value through continued education, innovation, and process/service improvement.
Highly driven passionate person who consistently exceeds goals and expectations.
Orchestrator (“connecting the dotsâ€) ability to understand complexity of large accounts, its politics and internal structure. Be able to manage internal account teams and stakeholders. Orchestrate resources resulting in successful M365 E5 deployment and usage scenarios.
Communicator – strong negotiation, organizational, presentation and writing skills. Ability to engage with Microsoft, customer, and industry senior stakeholders and provide feedback and best practices.
