The M365 Core App Platform Onboarding team enables Microsoft engineers and data scientists from across the company leverage our secure and compliant data platform to build and host industry-leading intelligent experiences for our customers.

Here you will have the unique opportunity to work with teams across Microsoft to design the next generation of onboarding and management for these applications. We are both a globally scaled developer platform, and the engine behind many app experiences – so you’ll learn about both delivering a world-scale platform, and about directly powering AI/ML-backed app experiences. This is a fast-paced, quickly evolving space where you can have a high level of impact. You will work with other PMs, engineers, designers, researchers, and internal partners to design, implement, and deliver end-to-end experiences with the purpose of improving developer satisfaction & agility while also maintaining customer trust thru establishing a high bar for security, privacy, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic approach to drive growth and efficiency for platform onboarding
• Identify opportunities to drive business impact, and reduce cost and onboarding times
• Translate developers feedback into a strategy for platform solutions, derive data driven insights, and build experiences that empower developers to do more
• Advise customers and partners building experiences on our data platform from onboarding through production
• Partner closely within our team and across partners to meet our customer needs with quality and agility
• Demonstrate end to end ownership and drive execution of complex cross group projects to successful completion
• Drive planning and execution of the identified investments through the defined quarterly planning cycles 
• Drive leadership communication and presentation on our current state, our goal and plans to achieve our goal
• Contribute to our team’s culture as we continue to grow and mature as a team 
• Think big and move quickly with a sharp focus on telemetry, experimentation, and business outcomes 

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ experience in program/product management or software engineering leadership
• BA/BS in Computer Science, engineering, or related field
• Customer obsession and empathy
• Demonstrate data analytics skills
• Strong technical aptitude
• Strong leadership skills to influence approach and agenda among partners and engineering counterparts
• A track record of successfully driving mission critical projects with cross-company and/or cross-industry stakeholders
• Demonstrated visual, written, and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, a strong work ethic
• Curiosity and self-motivation to explore new ideas 
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in ambiguous environments
