We are investing in Microsoft Dataverse which is at the heart of Microsoft Power Platform and Microsoft Dynamics 365 which is used by fortune 500 enterprises for their CRM and ERP needs. Microsoft Dataverse enables customers to easily structure a variety of data, events, and business logic to support interconnected applications, bots, and processes in a secure and compliant manner.

 

The Microsoft Dataverse team is looking for an experienced technical program manager who will obsess about end-to-end product experience, extend product capabilities, build a vibrant community of citizen and professional developers who help to make Dataverse better. In this role, you will be driving features for the Microsoft Dataverse in one or more areas like data management, runtime, automated infrastructure management, product licensing and other architectural optimizations which make the platform more reliable, available, performant and cost-effective. The candidate should be able to leverage their skills to design, review, and define product requirements and new scenarios/features

Responsibilities

Own the scenarios end to end and utilize customer insights to influence roadmap and product plans. Partner closely with engineers, authoring feature specs that meet business, customer, and partner requirements. Drive features and scenarios to grow users and engagement while connecting with customers to learn and adapt quickly. Create clarity for the feature crew and keep the team, partners and leaders updated on progress and roadblocks.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years’ experience in a Program or Product management role.
  • Background in cloud and enterprise services or applications - part of your role will be building experiences that can connect to and integrate with a variety of Microsoft services and products. Qualitatively and quantitatively data-driven.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically, with a strong bias for action.
  • Flair for program management and good communication skills.
  • Ability to try, fail, learn, and improve and never be tired of doing this again and again.
  • Customer-obsessed with the focus to cut through the noise and build what our customers need and not always what they want.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent alternative education, skills, and/or practical experience

 

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
