In this role, you will be paired with developers who own both client and service technologies. You will deliver solutions for a diverse set of scenarios that leverage cutting edge technology, such as Blockchain and Decentralized Identifiers, in a close team-oriented environment. You will learn how to be sensitive to the needs of end-users, developers, and ecosystem partners to develop shared goals that support win-win results for our customers. There really is a ton of cross teamwork, so you must be great at creating and maintaining warm and productive working relationships across disciplines and the company. There is also a lot of deep identity and security technology in this job, so some familiarity is a plus.

Decentralized Identity is a rapidly evolving space and therefore it will be essential to be exemplary at being able to learn, identify the real problems, and guide teamwork to deliver great solutions. Responsibilities

Defining the roadmap and strategy for Microsoft Decentralized Identity Platform

Working with web standardization bodies and Open Source Software (OSS) projects – Decentralized Identity Foundation (DIF), W3C, FIDO alliance, etc. to define and evolve identity related platform components, such as, OAuth, OpenID and Cryptography

Creating feature specifications in co-ordination with your feature crew

Building prototypes and driving architectural design 

Work closely with customers, software integration partners as well as various teams across Microsoft and LinkedIn  

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Experience driving the delivery of consumer-grade user experience features

Experience collaborating with design, research and engineering teams to define and build software features 

Experience listening to customers and stakeholders to understand their requirements and then iterating designs to meet their needs  

Experience bringing people together to drive toward common goal.

10+ years of experience leading products from conception to delivery

Preferred Qualifications:  

Prior experience with or expertise in identity or security related technology

Some experience with either Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, or Google Cloud.

Prior experience with or expertise in identity or security related technology.

Prior experience building developer platforms, APIs, and tools.
