The Identity & Network Access (IDNA) Organization, a part of Microsoft’s new Security, Compliance, Identity, and Management Division, is building, deploying and running the Azure Active Directory suite of Cloud and Enterprise Mobility Services to enable a set of durable and secure Identity Provider capabilities for all of Microsoft’s Customers.
As part of the Engineering Efficiency and Fundamentals PM team, our team delivers platform solutions to improve engineering efficiencies, increase availability of our services and drive key fundamentals programs with meaningful and enduring impact across the entire IDNA division.
You will be working with a great team of engineers and be responsible for integrating identity capabilities within the US Government air gap clouds, identifying, defining, and driving improvements across the IDNA service model. You will define and drive live site KPIs and OKRs, driving and tracking buildout and parity requirements, ensuring services meet compliance requirements and helping the team build programs that sustain the world's most reliable identity services for our important government customers. The program you help lead in the air gap cloud will have impact across the entire Microsoft business, establishing the model from which Microsoft can scale its offerings.
The successful candidate will thrive in fast paced and ambiguous environments, support existing application and services, respond with agility to unique, emerging needs and address stability issues through program management. You will have experience delivering and coordinating large enterprise programs and projects using software engineering best practices such as project planning, functional design, resource budgeting, issue/risk management, and cross-division coordination. You will show a passion for driving data-driven decisions through business data and analytics necessary to deliver programs necessary for running large services and solutions.

Responsibilities
Requirements:
A deep technical understanding of development of online services and/or software applications.
A demonstrated understanding of complex service architecture and/or Technical Program Management
Proven experience with the Software and Service Delivery Life cycle, design, delivery, and End-To-End Operate and User Scenarios.
Ability to drive solution definition, plan a staged solution development and deployment. Manage multiple customer and partner engagements.
Ability to thrive and create order from a highly ambiguous environment
Demonstrate a customer obsession by “being the voice of the customer†while driving continuous improvement to the health of all Identity services.
A proven ability to collaborate with, present to, and drive requirements across many high-level Microsoft employees and leadership teams.
Excellence in strategic thinking, leadership, communication, interpersonal skills and able to influence without authority.
Ability to build good frameworks and models for prioritization, planning and execution.
Customer/partner scenario focused solution design & development
Deep passion for satisfying customer needs and achieving high user and business partner satisfaction though a detailed understanding of user scenarios.
Excellent written and oral communication skills at all organization levels and both internal and external to the organization.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven track record of shipping secure, high quality software through all phases of the lifecycle
Experience with delivering programs/projects with diverse engineering / division / geographies
Outstanding problem-solving skills and passion to solve hard problems
Experience with n-tier architecture and large scale webservices
Proven experience with the Software and Service Delivery Life cycle, design, delivery, and End-To-End Operate and User Scenarios.
10+ years of related program management experience
Security Clearance Requirements: Candidates must be able to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
Candidates must have an active TS (preferably TS/SCI) or be willing to upgrade to TS/SCI (with polygraph) or have an active TS/SCI and be willing to upgrade to TS/SCI (with polygraph). This role will require candidates to maintain the TS/SCI (with polygraph) clearance.
Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Citizenship Verification: This position requires verification of US Citizenship to meet federal government security requirements.
