Power Platform enables Organizations of all sizes build software solutions with low code, so anyone can design and build solutions that perfectly fit their needs and workflows. Portals is a strategic new growth area within Microsoft Power platform, focused on disrupting the way websites and web applications are designed and built. We believe that web development should be accessible to anyone who loves to create and not just those who can understand the complexities of code. We are looking for a seasoned Product Manager who is excited about executing this vision and leading a team of world class engineers and designers.  

In this role, you will craft the vision, strategy, and roadmap to deliver a consumer-grade What-You-See-Is-What-You-Get editor for the Portals Maker Studio – the core product experience for designing and building a site.  The scope includes defining the UX framework of the Maker Studio, click and drag experiences for building a webpage, the draft vs publish experience of a site, and many more.

Responsibilities

• Deeply understand the needs of our diverse set of Portals customers and become an expert on their workflows within their teams and functions
• Create and execute the product roadmap for your areas
• Partner with design to define modern, intuitive and beautiful experiences focused on user needs
• Identify and drive key measures of success for your product areas
• Collaborate extensively with cross functional teams, including Engineering, Data scientists, User research, and Design to define and launch product improvements

Qualifications

Required Qualifications: 

• 6+ years of experience in product management with prior experience as a Product Manager at a SaaS company
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent alternative education, skills, and/or practical experience 
• Shipped end-user facing products at scale with good customer/user reviews  

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience complex design problems in simple and intuitive ways to create delightful experiences
• Experience with Low code/No code platforms, Power Platform products 
• Experience with web front-end development 
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically, with a strong bias for action 
• The ability to wear many hats, learn quickly and change direction when needed 
• Proven track record of developing products in an agile development environment across several teams. 
• Strong Product management, communication, and cross-group collaboration skills 
• Self-starter who is constantly curious and looking for ways to improve the product and team efficiencies 

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
