Inflection points of this magnitude come along very infrequently. As part of Azure, the compute team designs and builds software infrastructure that powers hundreds of thousands of servers in datacenters around the globe, providing core infrastructure software services for internal and external cloud services. The Azure Compute team is looking for a highly motivated and talented leader to identify and drive improvements in in the platform that improve our overall cost profile without impacting customer experience. This team plays an integral part in managing Compute margins in the hyper scale public cloud. The right candidate would be comfortable working in an agile environment, balancing business needs and communications in designing the right experience to our customers. This person would work closely with an exceptional software development team, and other internal and external partners in delivering features that drive efficiencies within Azure. The position requires strong executive communication skills, passion for customer experience and data-driven analysis to inform decisions.
