As part of Microsoft’s Cloud + AI Group, we are responsible for building, managing, and securing the platform, products, processes, and services that powers Microsoft. We build, maintain, and implement a cloud-first approach to our technology and experiences, from custom-built business solutions developing our campus of the future and our productivity and collaboration experiences like Teams and SharePoint, to horizontal 3rd party solutions like SAP and Adobe. As a steward of Microsoft and our customer’s data, a core function of Microsoft Digital is ensuring the security of every aspect of the business. Microsoft Digital is responsible for company-wide information security and compliance, with a strategic focus on information protection, assessment, awareness, governance, and enterprise business continuity. Microsoft Digital’s charter is also to influence and work alongside engineers across the company and with strategic partners to build and grow their cloud products and services. As customer zero, we deploy these services inside Microsoft and then share best practices with enterprise customers at scale across the globe. 

 

 

The Employee Experience team within Microsoft Digital is focused on reimagining the experience of our own employees. We are transforming and personalizing how employees work and collaborate across physical and digital experiences. As we accelerate a fully hybrid workforcewe need to redefine a new operating model. 

 

As Principal PM Manager you will be part of a team that enables our vision of employee enablement through reimagined Teams engagement for Teams as our “OS for work” and how employees can work smarter with Teams and Business workflows leveraging citizen-led no-code/low-code apps using Power Platform. Lead Teams Meetings experience and enable Teams as our “OS for work” integration, adoption as well as change management of seamless teamwork experiences across Microsoft. Be the subject matter expert for the Teams Meeting technology and other productivity related experiences to drive new feature implementation and provide feedback to Engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Teams complex initiatives & issues with Engineering teams 
  • Build and support large scale distributed systems and services for Employees 
  • Build and drive a product vision, intake of new features, roadmap partnership with engineering teams, successful rollout of new features/functionalities and drive process improvements.  
  • Lead adoption, change management and drive easy deployment experience for Teams. 
  • Lead in a fast-paced dynamic environment with rapidly changing requirements 

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of program management experience rolling out products/services
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Teams technical engagement

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Leadership experience in fast-paced environment 
  • Strong technical background and solid foundation in software or platform engineering principles  
  • Proven experience in planning, executing and driving adoption on complex initiatives across engineering teams and other disciplines 
  • Strong cross-team collaboration skills 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication 
  • BA/BS or MS degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience
