PromoteIQ , part of Microsoft Advertising is seeking a Principal Product Manager to help expand our growing suite of e-commerce advertising solutions in Beijing. This is an exciting opportunity to participate in and help shape the development and evolution of a large and rapidly changing industry.

As a Principal Product Manager, you will help to oversee ongoing enhancements and strategic direction of the PromoteIQ platform, and to develop new, related product offerings. In this role, you will focus on a broad spectrum of product areas that sit at the intersection of e-commerce and programmatic advertising. You will work on a broad set of product lines that include inventory management, delivery optimization, ML driven insights, and data analytics. A successful candidate will engage with clients, engineering, marketing, sales, services, and product management to develop the next generation of product capabilities.

Responsibilities

Participate in the full product enhancement lifecycle, from requirements gathering and prioritization of enhancement requests through design and oversight of implementation
Investigate and analyze market trends, opportunities and the competitive landscape to guide PromoteIQ strategies, direction, and roadmap
Responsible for end to end product GTM for owned product lines and features, as well as help to set and evaluate pricing models for new product lines
Partner with sales and account teams to maintain and support important relationships with PromoteIQ’s platform customers – providing and gathering feedback on an ongoing basis to guide product roadmap and strategy, solve customer issues, and identify areas for improvement
Develop detailed requirements specifications, including detailed user interface mockups and the underlying business logic
Work closely with PromoteIQ’s engineering team to plan, oversee and guide implementation

Qualifications

- Minimum 7+ years experience in software design/development or product management for a SaaS product
- Previous product management experience in programmatic ad tech (ad servers, SSPs, exchanges, DMPs, DSPs, etc.) or previous product management experience in a data and analytics solutions company
- Ability to quickly learn and understand the strategic, process, financial, and technical dimensions of our and our customers' businesses and operate comfortably in all areas. Ability to identify customers' true underlying business needs, recognize trends and anticipate future customer needs
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You must have an ability to invent creative solutions to complex business problems with a very high degree of attention to detail
- Outstanding communication skills. You must have the ability to present intricate and complex concepts and details in a clear, concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences
