The role | Mō te tūnga

The role requires a motivated, results-driven self-starter who is hardworking and adaptable to ensure the successful implementation of our new governance model.  You will lead the provision of specialist governance services and advice across the organisation to enable consistency across our governance system and to ensure our people clearly understand the framework and contribute effectively.

You will work in close partnership with others across the organisation in your role as a trusted advisor to senior and executive leaders, as they lead and govern the delivery of Stats NZ's strategy and the priorities within it.   

An integral part of your role is to be the organisational champion for effective governance practices and ensure our governance system is successfully embedded and fit for the future. In doing so, you will identify improvement opportunities and lead initiatives to make enhancements to enable an effective and efficient governance system
