As a Pricing Manager in the EMEALA Pricing team at Johnson Controls, you will be responsible for the development and delivery of pricing tools and capabilities across the organization.

The primary objective of the Pricing manger will be to develop and deliver a set of coordinated capabilities to drive market competitiveness and margin expansion within a set of geographies and lines of business across EMEA and Latin America. You will assist business leaders and regional pricing champions with the development, deployment and monitoring of pricing actions and efficiency for the business. You will assist in the development and deployment of pricing related processes, policies, guidelines and reporting capabilities needed to achieve financial and operational goals as developed by and with the business. You will drive price benchmarking and price positioning analyses to identify pricing opportunities

How you will do it

• You will help drive value capture by implementing pricing strategy and deal execution capability in key geographies and lines of business.
• You will work with the leadership team at various levels to set targets, develop strategies, define and/or refine operating models, procedures and mentorship is vital to ensure continuity across pricing actions and decision-making.
• You will be supporting a focused pricing organization embedded in the business.
• You will also contribute to the development of communications strategies and deployment plans with respect to commercial activities meaningful for our customers and stakeholders.
• You will work with the enterprise to meaningfully improve financial performance by helping to define the basis of how Johnson Controls competes and wins
• You will identify and deploy external sources of information to use as pricing indicators or derive customized pricing indicators for the Johnson Controls business
• You will support decision making of senior level stakeholders to identify business opportunities, tackle complex problems and improve business performance by using advanced analytics and visualization tools.

What we look for

Essential

At least 4 years of experience in strategic pricing and/or pricing transformation.

Strong research and synthesis skills (e.g., translate analysis and facts into implications and recommendations).

Resilient, pragmatic, action-oriented and impact driven. Strong stakeholder leadership skills. Experience in change management.

Experience in complex, geographically dispersed matrix organizations.

Ability to develop validation processes in order to ensure data integrity/accuracy.

Experience creating tools and models to support business processes.

Comfortable with data, data structures and databases (SQL, SAP, …)

Preferred

Expertise in use of analytics, statistics, and visualization software is a plus (e.g., Tableau, R, Alteryx, SAS).

Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred

Additional European languages are a plus.
