Job Description

The TTWS Commercial Team is a vibrant and energetic team that plays a major role in the shaping and structuring of sales opportunities, informing product strategy, maintaining the customer base and maximising value by using our market, regulatory, product and customer knowledge. We work alongside and support our stakeholders which include Sales, Finance, Product and Operations.

Our team ranges from Analyst to Commercial Director. We are mainly based out of our state-of-the-art Soapworks building in Salford, however many of our colleagues are based around the UK. We offer a very flexible working structure between being home based and office based.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsibility for technical qualification and technical guidance to our partners (Acting as a trusted advisor).
  • Creation of high-level design documentation for the e2e solution or service.
  • Accountable for the most effective / efficient e2e solution design and for operationally compliant solutions.
  • Understands product roadmap and pro-actively designs solutions that align with the future portfolio / TT strategy.
  • Working with product, network and technology teams to implement the standardisation or productization of new solutions.

Authority

  • Self-Approver of technical designs for customer solutions.

To be successful in this role you will need the following in your skill set:

Must have:

1.           Subject matter / (IT or Telco) industry expertise with a solid understanding of the competitive landscape and technology evolution.

2.           A deep technical knowledge of MPLS networks, access products, voice services and cloud technologies.

3.           Great stakeholder management managing internal and external customers with multiple opinions / requirements.

4.           Strong interpersonal, communication, collaboration, influencing and negotiation skills.

5.           The ability to prioritise / manage workstack, prepare proposals, present solutions and show resilience when needed.

Be great to also:

1.           Have experience of unified comms, managed services and ancillary products such as Wi-Fi, LAN and enhanced monitoring.

2.           Have a continuous improvement mentality.

3.           Be an innovative thinker who can respond quickly in a dynamic environment.

4.           Be a proven team player who wins when the team wins.

5.           Have telecom’s sector or equivalent industry knowledge and experience.
