Construction and Technical Recruitment (CTR) are working with one of New Zealand's best contractors in the market. They have a growing portfolio of work load and the future is looking very bright indeed. However to build great projects, you need excellent talent on board.

Therefore with all this new work coming on line, CTR are looking for talented front end, pre construction management experience to get these projects out of the ground and onto the skyline.

To be considered for such a position we are looking for talented construction professionals who have been exposed to challenging projects and who can demonstrate some excellent pre-construction/design knowledge in their career portfolio. As part of this role you will overseeing the design and coordination functions from initial design and bid preparation through to project delivery and completion review.

• Sound knowledge and working experience within the commercial construction industry.
• Excellent working experience in managing design consultants, front end delivery teams and the client side of the business with the ability to build, maintain and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders.
• Highly developed project management skills with the flexibility to change the scope of role with each individual project.
• A deep understanding of Design and Construction processes including working with public and private sector clients engaged in the procurement process, initial feasibility and bid management through to financial close, and project design, construction and hand over.
• Qualifications in a relevant discipline such as Architecture, Construction, or Engineering. Strong experience in managing clients, design consultants and front end delivery teams.
• A high level of verbal and written communication skills demonstrating initiative and problem solving skills.
• Able to provide specialist construction knowledge to clients with the skills to facilitate value management sessions when required.
• Produce detailed construction methodologies and programming for the estimating and build teams.
• Health, Education, Commercial sector experience will be advantageous. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team within a successful organisation.
