Staff Nurse - Pre-Assessment | New Hall Hospital | Full Time 30 Hours

The Nurse Led Pre-Assessment Unit at New Hall Hospital are looking for 2 dynamic Staff Nurses, both with proven Nurse led Pre-assessment experience and clinical skills in the Pre-assessment role to join our Nurse Led Pre-Assessment Team. Nurse led Staff Nurses would be expected to be able to fully anaesthetically pre-assess preoperative minor and major surgery patients prior to admission, to run independent clinics, to request and perform the correct pre operative tests, MRSA Bloods ECG, to review all test results and to refer abnormalities to an Anaesthetist or GP as required. Both nurse led Staff Nurses would be expected to be able to work independently and make independent clinical patient anaesthetic suitability fitness decisions and to be able to defer unsuitable patients and refer on as required, if not fit for New Hall Hospital.
