About our group and team
Our teams around the country work closely with the Early Childhood and Schooling sectors, providers, and communities to provide support, expertise and resources to help children and young people reach their full potential.
We also directly provide Learning Support for around 40,000 children and young people.
About this role
The focus of this role is on embedding best practice within Learning Support. You will provide practice thought leadership and will facilitate the broadening of field workers thinking to an all-of system approach to practice. You will be supporting and enabling the adoption and implementation of the new ways of thinking behaving and working within our region.
You will work with colleagues across the motu, and with the national Practice and Implementation Advisers, contributing to specialist expertise to meet practice specific needs of all regions
About you
You will have a relevant post graduate tertiary qualification, experience of the implementation of frameworks across organisations that support capability building and be a powerful role model with the ability to quickly develop high credibility across the region
You will also offer very strong interpersonal, influencing skills, rigorous logic and the ability to solve difficult problems. You will demonstrate the ability to understand and apply the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and tangatawhenuatanga.
