Portfolio Planning Manager - IoT Product Management Office Manager

The Vodafone Business Internet of Things (IoT) Line of Business (LoBs) exists to drive profitable growth across a €1bn global IoT portfolio. The portfolio includes flagship products, which are central to the execution of the Vodafone Business strategy. 

As our Portfolio Planning manager you will be responsible for managing the governance through NPD process, in-life stages and to rationalisation in collaboration with other teams, including:
•    Ensuring the effective tracking of delivery of new products across the various NPD & Agile milestones
•    Managing Product Management governance, e.g. investments decision meetings
•    Providing Product Management reports – e.g. for budget and delivery KPIS

What will you be doing?
•    Managing the portfolio governance and reporting  between LoB and VBPS to ensure NPDs are delivering against the agreed scope, time, cost, quality
•    Managing portfolio governance between LoB and our OpCos ensuring that group functions deliver value and growth
•    Supporting CAPEX planning, tracking CAPEX spends by project, analyse product/feature spends and providing relevant input for budget and delivery prioritisation to Product Management
•    Tracking product delivery across every gate/ increment- including delays, go to market readiness, governance in collaboration with Product Managers and Technology team.
•    Working with Product Managers and Technology team for Value Stream/ Product Category submissions and Product Increment planning every quarter, ensure new product and feature documentation, manuals etc. are in place.
•    Monitoring and initiating continuous improvement on the product (technology / operations / marketing / commercial), ensuring customers are fully supported throughout the lifecycle of the product.

Who are we looking for?
•    Experience and proven track record in Programme Management
•    Expertise in process management, management reporting
•    Good experience of Portfolio and Product Management process, frameworks and activities, e.g. NPD process, SAFe, agile
•    Good understanding of the IoT industry landscape (competitors and customers) and IoT products
•    Strong communicator, able to influence, manage and work with external and internal stakeholders at various organisational levels
