We are looking for someone with expertise across Azure and Microsoft environments, to support the design of a new enterprise content management system and information system migration.

In this role you will be responsible for the strategic direction, architecture and implementation of the system, including engagement with vendors.

This role will suit someone with advanced understanding of the integrations of the Microsoft platform environment and knowledge of Azure, including an advanced understanding of the Microsoft compliance centre.

Key skills and responsibilities:

• Ensuring the operational health of the M365 environment including security, availability, governance, performance and reliability through good design and monitoring
• Leadership in the design of information lifecycle capabilities in the system and development of sites and business-specific tools
• Understanding of all apps within the Microsoft umbrella and their integration points, as well as some knowledge of third party apps where required
• Vendor engagement and support for migration and development – being the in-house expert to guide the team
• Provide training and leadership to other engineers and technologists within the system to increase inhouse skillsets
• Knowledge of core development capabilities in the SharePoint framework, with familiarity with C#, React, SPFX, Logic apps, PowerPlatform and Microsoft’s IA
• Familiarity with Agile practices with ideally several years working in an Agile framework
• Maintain a strong understanding of updates to the Microsoft systems in particular the compliance and information governance toolsets
