You’ll be joining the Medicines Supply and Logistics team based at Auckland City Hospital who work with Auckland DHB’s values to welcome, to respect one another, to work together and to always aim high.
In this role you will handle, supply, store, monitor and distribute medicines to clinical areas and patients in a quality, safe, efficient and professional manner according to legislation, Health & Disability Standards and Standard Operating Procedures. This role is covered by the PSA Allied, Public Health & Technical MECA and pay range is between $41,720 - $49,415 dependent on experience.

About you
As the ideal candidate for this role, you are efficient and enthusiastic in your approach and your values will align with ours. You will be physically fit as there is some heavy lifting and pushing of trolleys involved in this role. You will be part of a large, high performing team who all have a common passion, care and enthusiasm for “putting the patient first†in everything we do. Hospital pharmacy, healthcare environment and pharmaceutical warehouse experience will be highly regarded. About the department
Our Pharmacy department is an innovative and exciting place to work. We employ over 100 staff working within two retail pharmacies, Aseptic Production Unit and a flagship inpatient service. We serve over 1200 inpatient beds. Our guiding principle is to put the patient first in everything we do. Our award winning and growing clinical pharmacy service has over 40 pharmacists working across both secondary and tertiary level services. We have a robust service strategy which ensures that our staff are continuingly driving to work at the top of their scope and pushing the boundaries of clinical pharmacy practice.
