The PSW’s within STEGH’s float pool will be trained to work between multiple units. Alternating between the Intensive Care Unit, Acute Medical Unit and Surgical Inpatient departments. The PSW will be working at their full scope of practice and will be responsible for performing basic patient care functions, assisting patients with activities of daily living and other duties assigned. The PSW will be responsible for documenting on unit specific documentation forms, observing and reporting changes in patient conditions to appropriate team members and practicing infection control and safety measures in accordance with Hospital policies and procedures.
HOURS:
The successful candidate must be available to work all tours applicable to the department. In addition, this position must be flexible to occasional changes in hours when required to meet the operational needs of the department.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

Successful candidates must provide evidence of a fully completed COVID-19 vaccination status prior to your first day of work.
