Job Description Summary

An exciting opportunity to join the Group Cost Management Finance team as PA to the Finance Director and HoFs in CoE.

The role is a key part of the Finance Director's team and running the office supporting the GCM team. You will be a motivated and driven team player with a natural curiosity that will allow you to get involved fully with the wider team agenda. You will be well organised, proactive and hold excellent communication & relationship building skills. PA experience is not essential as training will be provided.

With more than 150 colleagues, Group Cost Managment provides innovative Finance partnership and support services to a range of stakeholders via our strategy, operational, cultural and business partnering activities. All of this is only possible with a great team so we are really focussed on making this a great place to work as well as providing colleagues with the support and development they need to succeed.

The team's primary goal is to provide a best in class planning, control and reporting services whilst working collaboratively with a multitude of stakeholders in both the Business and Finance.  

This role will provide critical support to the Finance Director as well as two Heads of Finance to ensure  smooth and streamlined management of diaries, travel and key team activities.   The successful candidate will understand the role of Group Cost Management and what value it delivers to the wider business.

• Arranging travel and keeping up to date itinerates
• Preparation for meetings and organisation of materials
• Paperwork management
• Events organisation
• Ad hoc requests to support the wider team
• Feel empowered to work independently
• Able to make decisions quickly
• Using network within LBG, particularly PAs to achieve results
• Support Group Services Finance team agenda

First class organisation skills, strong ability to communicate well with a number of stakeholders and knowledge of LBG policies and systems are key capabilities.

In addition an ability to build relationships and proactively achieve results using your drive and enthusiasm are essential elements of the role.
