This organisation is well known in the Wellington market, public sector and pride themselves on being the public leaders to the ever changing world. If you are looking to be involved in New Zealand's projects that aim to help small business, engage with diverse communities and touch the daily lives of New Zealanders this organisation is for you. Due to the changing world and increased workload they are looking to recruit two Team Administrators/ Personal Assistants to join them. There is a two 6 month temporary contracts available while the team recruit for the permanent position. If you're enjoying the role and like the team, the temporary candidates can become permanent

Your new role

In your new position you will be responsible for providing PA support to the general manager in the procurement and energy market's branch and supporting the wider team of other administrators. This is a dual role and will give you the opportunity to learn what it takes to be a PA and providing one on one support ,while also working within a team towards a desired outcome.

Your duties will include:

  • Diary management
  • Preparation of documentation, minute taking and meeting agendas
  • Assisting with event management and catering for business units
  • liaising with contractors and stakeholders and relationship building
  • Financial processing and reporting

What you'll need to succeed

This is an exciting opportunity for self-sufficient and experience PA/ Team Administrator to join a well-established Ministry. In order to succeed in this role, you will need to following experience and skills:

  • Previous experience as Personal Assistant or Team Administration
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Superior time management and ability to meet deadlines
  • Outstanding presentation
  • Attention to detail
  • Positive attitude
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
