Responsibilities – Job Description
The Property Assistant role includes, but is not limited to:
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders - other ALDI departments/regions, property agents, developers, landlords, vendors, architects, engineers, lawyers, building contractors, suppliers industry groups, government bodies, departments and agencies
- Email and diary management
- Scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, transcribing minutes
- Drafting and issuing correspondence, preparing property briefs, reports, memos and presentations
- Research, analysis and evaluation of data
- Typing, printing, scanning, copying and binding
- Utilising company databases, systems and templates
- Checking and coding incoming invoices, submitting expense claims, reconciling credit card statements
- Administering the rent review process
- Establishing regional administrational systems and practices
- Assisting in the preparation of financial modeling, forecasting and budgets
- Coordinate ‘Special Projects’ as allocated by Property Director
We are seeking an exceptionally well organised person with excellent written communication skills and a sharp eye for detail whilst working on multiple projects often involving tight deadlines.

- 5 years’ experience in property and/or construction related administration
- Useful knowledge/exposure to Construction/Property/Legal
- Invoicing/Accounts Payable - dealing with invoices
- Commercial and legal awareness
- MS Office - Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint
- Previous experience to using SAP preferable
- Problem solving/logical thinking
- Team player who is able to work with a range of stakeholders
Employment Conditions:
- Full-time role located in Dandenong South
- 5 weeks annual leave plus leave loading
- Total Remuneration (including superannuation):
- Year 1: $93,704
- Year 2: $98,002
- Year 3: $102,302
- Year 4: $106,601
