Job Description 

• Create rough drawings and more complex plans with computer-aided design (CAD) programs.  Analyze complex environmental reports and use knowledge gained in designs/plans.
  
• Make recommendations on conservation and sustainability issues.
  
• Drafting reports and contracts.
  
• Write proposals and present them to clients.
  
• Liaise with other architects, project managers, engineers and surveyors.
  
• Talk to locals and community members to gain insight.

Job Requirements

• Proven work experience as a landscape architect or similar role
  
• Hands-on experience with CAD software
  
• Creative understanding and imagination
  
• Good responsiveness to response
  
• Good understanding of written and oral specifications
  
• Relevant training and/or certification as a landscape architect
  
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture landscape architecture.
  
• Evidence of continuing education would be beneficial.
  
• Related licenses.
